Is anyone else having problems with the latest round of updates? I don't want to get into a should I or shouldn't I let windows update itself but this latest round keep failing the install!
I have tried downloading them as individual items but this machine says they are not needed/compatible with my version.
Win 7 Ultimate.

I had no problems installing the latest updates (12 Feb) on Windows 7 Pro. 21 updates, no failures. That's on several PCs.

I needed a reboot to install the last of the bunch.

I needed a reboot to install the last of the bunch.

That goes without saying for MS updates! ;)

I honestly don't remember the last time that a monthly Windows update didn't require a reboot.

That goes without saying for MS updates - not in my experience! Mine frequently do not. This one would not install the last update without a reboot.

After trying allsorts to install them I invoked 'The Sanction'. In went the Windows disc and problem solved. Probably does it good a reinstall now and then!http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:www.pprune.org/get/images/smilies/yeees.gif

My last update seems to have resulted in erratic behaviour - web pages fail to load fully (as if connection is too slow) and similar. Living with it for the moment, but reluctantly :bored:
