While there are always many reasons and variables involved in aircraft mishaps, one always views the subject of collapsed undercarriages on landing in a Baron with wry amusement - always provided of course that no one has been hurt.
It would, hypothetically speaking, not be the first time someone had become the victim of Beech's decision to put the gear selector on the left, the right and the left and the flap selector on the right, the left and the right. Right confusing can it be when knob selection is left to one's own imagination?

The incident is suspected to have been a controlled terrain crash...It appears that the terrain was under control at the time?
