Brilliant! :ok: Best of luck to the guy. (Just hope it doesn't actually fly and do him any damage...)

I dunno whether to laugh or cry. I guess the main thing in his favour is - it'll never get off the ground - luckily for him.

Oh, you’ve got to love Africa. Hahahaha! That little clip brings to mind the “Forgotten Zambian Space Program”. Fortunately it too never got off the ground.

As has been said, he was done a favour by it not even getting more than a few feet before falling apart. Two things that struck me, 1) how lucky 'we' are having mile upon mile of level reliable roads and paths, whereas our magnificent man in his flying machine had the opposite and 2) despite being overwhelmed by the physical evidence of defeat, he hoists his dreams to the mast and sets sail again and again and maybe perhaps one day he will achieve his dream of flying.

Absolutely hilarious!

And, he made this out of metal. Even more impressive.

I guess the early planes made of wood and fabric didn't fly because they were too light... oh no they DID fly... must be on to something here... ;-D

"Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;"

From the poem by John Gillespie Magee, Jr

SHJ has got it right: those who belly laugh as things like this do not understand the sprit of engineering developement. Give him 10 Years and I bet he will be working at Airbus on composite materials.
