I just got some correspondance from the UK today & the stamp was a great view of the DHC Comet's starboard engines.

Can someone enlighten me as to this stamp being a one off, or is it a series of stamps with an aviation theme? I wouldn't mind getting a set. Cheers. :)

New series of stamps released on the 2 May called "Airliners - Fifty Years of Jet Travel".

Set includes 5 stamps 2002 Airbus 340-600, 1976 Concorde, 1964 Trident, 1964 VC10 and 1952 Comet.

They can be purchased loose, or in a presentation pack for about £2.30.

Hope that helps
