Can anyone help with the following questions;

1. Does anyone know where I might be able to source 2 sliding windows for a Boeing 737-200, require both sides. Limited budget.

2. Will any 737 sliding window (classic or NG) fit a 200??

All this is for a restoration project down in Bournemouth, any help would be greatly apreciated!!

Have you tried European at BOH. They've scrapped loads of 737s.

BA are replacing their LGW fleet of 737-400s with A320s.

I don't know if they are being scrapped or sold on. An enquiry wouldn't hurt.
Best of luck.:ok:

Would look at the boneyards, sorry I can not find more detail. Have you exhausted google?

When you say 'restoration', you mean for grounded display purpose, right ?
Companies breaking up 737's might be disposed to help, long as you're not going to fly ?

I would not be suprised if 707/727/737 are all the same.

Thank you all for info so far. I am on the case to European. I will try and find a contact at BA.

G-ARZG; yes she is just for static and display purposes.

Anyone know the answer to question 2 as I think I may have sourced what I need but one window is from a classic.

I checked the -200 and -300 to -500 IPC, also the OHM for P/N 5-71762-xxxx. They may have different - numbers but they are all interchangeable to fit the opening. You may have to adjust the "pin on serrations" on the lower forward frame for it to fit into the opening. ;)

If you want the pressure ones to open, not just the inner ones, perhaps you could try asking Mitt Romney where he got his idea for smoke clearance from?
