Poking around on ASN (as one does) I note three UK Enstroms reportedly destroyed or badly damaged by fire on the ground (?) - G-JOSY 09 Feb 1992 at Loxwood, W. Sussex, G-REFI 22 Sep 1995 at Dublin and G-BWSK 20 Sep 2002 at an unstated location. Can anyone fill me in with the circumstances and, if known, the causes of these reported fires and the location for G-BWSK. Any other similar events known?

G-JOSY was reported as arson, while parked overnight behind a Ducati(?) motorbike dealership. Both the dealership and the helicopter were owned by the current owner of Eastern Atlantic Helicopters - he may have more details for you?

Thanks guys. Is it me but I get the impression that far more helicopters fall victim to arson attacks than fixed wing aircraft?

Possibly because of their nature they can be landed/parked/stored in less well secured areas.
not sure what point you are making.
