Channel Tridents in 3-4 seating 7 abreast!

I know Channel operated two Tridents and in the forward cabin they had 4-3 seating. As far as I know, this is unique in a narrowbody for 7 abreast! Any information? better still anyone been in one or seen that 4-3 seating. Iv seen a very grainy photo that's all.

Yes. In early 1971 I was an ATCO Cadet at the Field Training Unit at Stansted and I and my fellow-students were shown around one. It felt incredibly claustrophobic and, despite being young and (relatively) slim in those days, I just could not get into the seats partly because of their narrowness but mainly because of the incredibly small seat pitch.

Fortunately we were on a hill, on a hot day they were certainly interesting departures. I may be wrong after these years but a figure of 143 total inc crew is in my mind on one day !!
