Hi,

I've recently got a contract flying for an overseas family and will be setting up a Ltd company. As I've only ever worked for UK based companies as an employee this is all new to me so I'm looking for a decent accountant. Any recommendations? I live in north London and am FAB based although I guess the accountant doesn't necessarily have to be local, just preferably have experience with similar set ups.

I'm looking for an accountant that knows how to save me money where possible, but all above board as I don't want any stress with it once its up and running. I won't be out of the UK enough to be non-dom so it will be a UK based company.

Thanks in advance :)

ps - any other advice regarding setting up a small business gratefully received!

I would suggest 'Tax Assist' they are all over the UK.

I use the one in Bishops Stortford near Stansted. They deal with many pilots.

Their assistance last year in setting up my limited company was first rate.

Tax Assist are now called the The Tax Consultancy and are 1st rate. I use the Exeter/Torquay branch only the best service I have found.
