View Full Version : The Universe is (much) smaller than you thought

According to a French newspaper I read this morning, the James Webb space telescope, which is due to replace the Hubble, when in orbit will be able to take pictures of stars and galaxies "four times further than the moon".

Assuming it is OUR moon, I find this very worrying, not least because of the increase in gravitation effects. Could this be why I'm having more and more difficulty in getting out of bed in the mornings ?

The universe is any size you wish, from infinitessimally small to infinitely large. It all depends upon what kind of particle/wave you are.

... and what time it is, of course. ;)
