Help me out here someone please.
I have an FAA license to work on a certain type of aircraft, I want to work on the same type but this time the aircraft happens to be on a European Register, apparently I need a EASA license to do this? However, I find that the guys already working on this European registered aircraft only have a license issued by their employer with a stamp on it from their local CAA. Does this qualify as an EASA license? If so why cant the relevant CAA put a stamp on my license and endorse it so I can work on the type as well? More relevant as I am a European citizen.
