Alvaro Galo, Carlos Ulloa and Ernesto Guerrero were three Nicaraguan pilots who fled Somoza's regime and went to Cuba where they enlisted in the new Cuban Air Force, in the early days of the Revolution. Ulloa became a Sea Fury Pilot, Guerrero flew the T-33 and Galo was put on the Douglas B-26C.
Carlos Ulloa was shot down and killed in his Sea Fury during the Bay of the Pigs invasion on April 17, 1961. Ernesto Guerrero and Alvaro Galo survived.

Alvaro Galo later flew for Cubana de Aviacion. I understand that he later he immigrated to Canada, possibly in the Vancouver area.

Ernesto Guerrero, I was told, now lives in Miami.

I would like to interview both of these gentlemen about their Cuban experience. They would be in their late seventies by now. Should anyone know them, know of them, know their email or phone number or even a relative of theirs, please contact me at ghudic @ yahoo.ca (without the spaces)

Thank you.
