Hi,

Does anybody have any information about Jettime and their ATR operations for SAS. As a current ATR captain for another company I am interested to know about their recruitment for ATR. Do they take DECs or are they doing internal upgrades only?

Also I would appreaciate any information about pay and roster etc.

Thanks.

The ATR operation has been going great so far since the launch.

As of today JT operate 4 72-600 in SAS colors and 2 72-500 in JT colors.
By the end of the year they will have 8 -600's all flying for SAS and the -500's acting as spare and for ACMI charters.

Recruitment is still going on with at least two more courses this year. About 10% of the crews are internal fleet changes and the rest coming in off the street. However all external have had a current rating and with experience.
Due to the vast expansion JT have hired loads of DEC but will start internal upgrades shortly.

The roster is flexible with 11 Off days/month. Count on being away from home about 5-6 days in a row when you fly out of ARN. This is due to the fact that CPH is the only crew base for the ATR fleet.

Salary is fixed, no per diems or flight pay. JT pays for all expenses while away from base.
Pay starts around Capt: 56000DKK/month, FO: 35000DKK/month (depending of previous experience). JT pays 10% on top into a pension plan which is matched by the employee.

Hope that sheds some light on JT and the ATR production.

Is the salary gross or net ?

Gross, it's common practice to give gross numbers as your tax situation is a personal matter that way vary from person to person.

But variations are not that significant, you can count that you will be receiving around 60% of quoted figure.
