Download helper will not download youtube any more???

I used to like to keep the odd copy of a youtube video and used download helper with firefox,

For some reason is wont work anymore...any ideas guys on a way to be able to download them in future,,

I have just read about Aimervideotool sofware......I wonder if thats any good???

I find that with Firefox, no problems on alternative browsers.

Depends which version you're using - YouTube have been constantly changing their methods and coding. If you check the Download Helper site and forum there is plenty of information about this cat and mouse game. Version 4.9.21 is the current one, and I just downloaded the video of a Ryanair 737 landing in a strong crosswind at Bristol posted here: http://www.pprune.org/spectators-balcony-spotters-corner/530256-ryanair-landing-bristol-strong-crosswinds.html without any problems.
