Hi Just installed a new PC at home to replace our old XP machine...the new one runs Win 7,

Just got around to uploading Google Earth which I use quite often....

In Google Earth on the old PC I had many place-marks...I wonder if anybody knows of a way of transferring them from one PC to another.

Nick.

You should be able to save them as KML files - right click and "save place as".

On your old PC, right-click on 'My Places' then 'Save as' to an external device, e.g. a USB stick.
On the new PC, File > Open > external device

Just double click on the file whilst in explorer. Google earth will pen then when you exit the prog it will ask if you want to save your km file. Select yes.
