Has anyone recently gone to the Lion Air Direct Hire Captain Interview in Jakarta? Any details such as interview, medical details, sim ride....

Also, any details on the latest contract... salary, housing benefits... etc.

The pay isn't fantastic by western standards but for living in Indo its more than enough with extra money in the bank every month.

The incompetence, lies and b#llsh!t that goes with the job probably isn't worth it.

The quality of the cadets being produced by the local flying schools is at best below average. Everyone has copies of the exam answers so no one ever studies. You may be lucky and get one of the CAE P2F guys as an FO so at least you know that he actually had to prove to an examiner in the EU that he could fly before they let him into a 73.
