Spanish 'ghost airport' up for sale - Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/10506155/Spanish-ghost-airport-up-for-sale.html)

If anyone has a bit of spare cash after xmas, it might be worth a punt. A 4200m long runway as well, blimey!

Our local dropzone (LEAP) has been purchased by a Prince of the Middle East and is currently having the runway extended and a parallel taxiway put in - no more will the Twotters have to taxi back down the runway......

so there is money coming in to Spain....

They may have but the present incumbents do what Brussels tells them to.

Right now we have the Russians and the Arabs playing Monopoly, only with real property. Real EXPENSIVE property, come to that. I'd like to say more, but can't.
