There have been many more like this; I recall a BOAC 707 video, which actually featured the 707 that went down near Mount Fuji ('APFE) - a very fascinating video indeed; it was amazing to see how relatively undeveloped LHR was, compared to today; no T3, 4 or 5 ...

It's such a pity they haven't done this for so long; I think they did something for the introduction of the Tristar, but that was pretty much it. Now they're reliant on television programs.

They have in fairness done some nice intro videos on the 787 and A380, but it would be great to see them produce something like the old 60s and 70s videos.

I can't thank you enough for posting this. The instructor (the bald one) in the first part of the film was my father. He died several years ago and it was great to see him again.
