Think this could be a functional tool in the helicopter cockpit?
Garmin's D2 GPS Watch Puts an Entire Cockpit on a Pilot's Wrist (http://gizmodo.com/garmins-d2-gps-watch-puts-an-entire-cockpit-on-a-pilot-1442416552)
My first reaction was "how cool!" But the more I think about, the more problematic it becomes. I like the moving map and nearest airport navigation feature and if I wore it on my left wrist, I could set friction on collective and put it close to my old eyes. I suppose I could hit the buttons with my right had while maintaining cyclic control. One of our R22s lacks a GPS and the other one has a vintage unit mounted low in the console. This looks like it might be more practical than a Nexus 7 suction mounted on the windshield.
