Question on 1944 bomber graves

Amongst some family photos is a picture of seven fresh graves with the caption "avion anglais, 13 Juillet 1944". On the reverse is written Llot du Douly, Hautes Pyrenees, France.

I guess seven crew in '44 suggests a Lancaster? I'd be pleased to hear suggestions on researching whether theres a family connection, or possibly one with my uncle, a WW2 RAF navigator.

Dans la nuit du 13 au 14 juillet 1944, un avion Halifax quadrimoteur de la Royal Air Force s'écrasait sur le flanc Est du pic du Douly, situé à 1 400 mètres d'altitude dans le Haut Nistos sur la commune de Sacoué. Very interesting, thanks. My picture was taken shortly after the crash but from the topography it may very well be the same site.
