The Townsville refueler told me that the Chief Operating Officer of Network Aviation is off to join Virgin's ATR operation.

Truth?

Another Qantas group employee with record level engagement. Way to hand your strategy to your competitor.

My mail is that he was brilliant, 8 months with literally no advancement on the EBA negotiations

If you're talking about Mark Davy, then yeah. He's the old chief pilot from QantasLink and is now looking after Virgin Aus' regional operation (Skywest).

First John Borghetti, and now this. I wish they'd hurry up and take Alan.

Maybe he can lead VARA to join the rest of the world & do RNAVs!

Would be particularly interesting if he poached some of his former colleagues with significant command time on Turboprops and offered them more coin (to come to work less) to jump ship. That would certainly help facilitate the planned growth... And also make the EAA eba negotiations interesting...
