Time to buy a new smartphone and later on a tablet but I want to make my choice based on the appss available for professional pilots and pilots in training.
I found many great opinions on LogTen Pro which is only available for Apple's platforms, whereas I found almost no opinions on mccPILOTLOG which is available to all the platforms on the market.

Which is best? What does one have that the other doesn't?

For example, I know that you or your examiner can put in the signature directly into LogTen Pro on the iPad or iPhone. Does it apply to mccPILOTLOG as well?

I am aware that LogTen Pro is a bit extensive while the mccPILOTLOG present a basic versions and two editions that are pay-ware but still cheaper than LogTen Pro.

Very happy with MCC PilotLog. Excellent value and yes you can record signatures, although, I haven't tried. I have base the logbook on my PC and use the IPhone and IPad versions to record flights.
