C208 type rating / SET

hi all,

first of all not sure if this is the best place to post this but if not just redirect me. i have an EASA frozen atpl (cpl , ir-me ) with 215 TT and am looking to do a caravan rating / SET class rating? first of all which is it? can i do it anywhere or just in EASA / JAR land? anyone knows of any good places do it it?

It is indeed not a type rating, but a class rating. You will be able to fly several turbine powered Cessna's.

I did mine at Air Alliance at Siegerland airport in Germany.

Also I can recommend you Flightsafety in Whicita, Kansas. They have several full motion sims, identical to Cessna Caravan 208. Great to practise emergencies.
