This extremely annoying pop up is happening on my Pprune pages and although I have a pop-blocker on it still happens. It appears at the top of Pprune pages all the time. It is called NEWS.NET and is all the Australian news and includes a whole list of news stories that comes on to the right hand side of my desk top screen.

News.net may run deeper than that, it's not a simple ad. Removal seems to range from trivial to devious: check out What is News.Net And How To Remove? - Windows (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2116026), where one person believes it was simply a case of uninstalling the program via the control panel. Is it just PPRuNe pages, all pages, or when you start the computer. You think it's just on PPRuNe, right?
