Does anyone else use this app like this...I zoomed to a suitable altitude so that the street names showed and then locked onto the Heathrow to Edinburgh Shuttle and followed it from 68 miles out of LHR all the way to EDI...It was remarkably smooth and a very expeditiously flown flight. This sequence of pictures that I took on my iPad may be of interest:-

I expect people will recognise the odd place along the way...Thanks for looking.

I've got the APP on my S4 but I've never had the patience to follow a flight like you did.

Hmmm, taxying along the EDI runway at 36kts with a V/S of -384 ft/min is a neat trick. :O

Image what Snr Brandao's APP would have done to this flight!!:ugh:

Peter, you should have a look at the 3D mode too. It gives a virtual cockpit view of the terrain and if you want, identifies other traffic in sight.
