Hi My son has a desire to enter the aviation industry in a ground operations role.
He is currently at college studying a 2 year BTEC in Airline and ground operations, which he will complete this summer.

Could anyone offer some advice on the best places to start looking for job opportunities?

Many Thanks.

Has he spoke with local airfields for work experience/jobs, foot in the door type opportunities?

Trawl websites not just airport web sites but airlines too, both have ground ops positions.

The forces? RAF currently advertising for Flight Operations and ATC

Aviation job search sometimes has assistant jobs adevertised, if not there is plenty of companies on there for him to write to.

Hi kn52

as someone else has said try the RAF, they dont insist on experience as would rather train their own, pay and conditions are brilliant

Some positions becoming available at BFC / Centreline soon. AOC Ops and FBO Ops.

Squirt me an email and I'll pop it along the corridor.
