Operate to ROAH .all of IAP require you in case of miss approach to maintain 1000 feet until at least 10 nm from the field .What is your technique to comply it.
I mean with normal G/A power and F/D guidance .chance to overshoot 1000 feet will be high.

I would level off at 1000'. What else can you do?

It's to deconflict Kadena arrivals and you're over the sea.

Well, you either level off at 1000' or you request from approach control to climb to 3000' in case of missed approach. I have done that several times and never had a second thought from approach in approving it. Not difficult really.

Normal FD giving you an overshoot? Best take it back to the programmers. And where is it written that you must have GA power set? I was under the impression that pilots, being the people with their hands on and making educated decisions, would be able to set thrust as required to achieve the intended results...

Wait, no, we live in a world where pilots give us AF, SFO, Memmingen...disregard all after good morning...
