A little off topic but here goes anyway.. What is the name of the Carribean band that has a number which includes the lyrics - I'm going to Barbados - and that has also a mock PA from a BWIA flight. The gurrlfriend has been racking her brains since Saturday trying to remember the band. Thank you, TtT.

Not a Barbados Band at all, I'm afraid. The song was written and recorded in London, at Morgan Recording Studios in Willesden.
"Captain Tobias Willcox" (aka Geraint Hughes, the songwriter) is white.
Name of the band is Typically Tropical.
