BBC News - Above agriculture - a summer in the skies (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24070901)

I saw this and thought it was interesting (and it has an aviation content :ooh:)

It is and it has - thanks SHJ. It's amazing what you don't see from the ground, particularly in a car, which is one of the lowest forms of transport. Even on a bike you can see over hedges but from the air beats the lot. I did a one week hot air balloon course once and those views were good too.

Lon, that's new to me, cheers. I have a question you may be able to answer. The images are described as high resolution, I downloaded a couple and they aren't what I would describe as high resolution, just 72ppi. Does one have to register or pay for hi-res, would you know? Ta.

Even on a bile you can see over hedges

Not if you're flying a Jaguar.

Unfortunately I can only see 27 seconds of the show, then it sticks and says : 'buffering 71%'. It's done that for the last hour or so.

I'm getting 31 ms ping, 8.61 Mbps download and 0.87 Mbps upload, so I don't think it's my connection.

Same here with Firefox (my usual browser) but with IE it works OK . . .

Interesting, because I was also viewing it in FF 23.0.1 and have just watched it in IE. At the same time I upgraded my FF to 24.0 but it sticks at the same place.

Weird?

Anyway thanks for the tip because it's a great show.

Thank you very much SHJ. Lovely photography. I had no problems with the clip's hanging, went straight through to the very end.
