Don't know whether this should go in 'Where are they now?'
It is the Telegraph obit (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/10310662/Air-Marshal-Sir-John-Curtiss.html) which may not display if you are not a subscriber and have exceeded your free allowance.
Air Marshal Sir John Curtiss, who has died aged 88, had an unusual breadth of operational flying experience, which proved invaluable when, in 1982, he was appointed Air Commander for Operation Corporate, the recovery of the Falkland Islands.
He certainly had. What a fortuitous blend of experience and relationship which he possessed and applied in the service of his country.

Met him a few times in a well known south coast yacht club - a very pleasant gentleman to have around. He will be missed. RIP
