Does the candidate still have to foot the bill for the TR on the Nintendojet, after being selected?

Of course they have to pay. This is Vueling that we are talking about. You pay for the type rating except for the base check, using one of their recommended TRTO's... Expect to fork out €20,000 to €30,000, and afterwards it is a six month contract with no gaurantee to continue.

In that case they can go and get stuffed with mucho gusto, anytime...

Suerte to those desperados that will fall into their jaws.

The Type Rating is done by CAE and the cost is 18 000€ with base training.
After 6 months of contract for the summer, depending on the situation for the winter, some temporal contract will be renewed, the others will be call for the next summer.

Yes, people have been attending interviews since three weeks ago. If you don't have the right profile (as in having the right enchufe or the right experience level), then there is a low chance of getting called.

Its near all about WHO YOU KNOW than WHAT YOU KNOW, obviously some experience is needed in order to avoid multiple tail strikes on their fleet so they will take some pilots than just fresh guys from school, so you might be lucky since applying does not harm anyone unless your expectations to be hired are too high.

I wish good luck to everybody, but look for other options too
