Windows 7 Update Icon

I've searched high and low and cannot find a way to change the 'updates ready' sys tray icon from the rather indistinct current one to something like the yellow XP 'Shield' which was clearly visible. Any tricks?

PDT - excellent utilities, thanks. Problem, is I cannot find the 'updates ready' icon in any caches!
