Is PPRuNe playing up or is it my computer ?

Sometimes, in fact quite a lot recently) I seem to have problems
finding the web site and / or it comes up with database error.

Any comment ?

It seems to be happening more and more often.

Every time it happens to me I think I've been put on the naughty step, not that I'm paranoid, but I know they're out to get me!

It's been down a lot this morning - it's not your computer.

I sent you an e-mail 500N.

The backup window is chosen to suit West Coast USA, not the rest of the world. That can often be a problem early morning UK.

Saab

Thanks for the response.

These are not "back up" slow downs. I know what they are and
the frequency and timings are not consistent with back ups
occurring unless you do it every 10 minutes !

Thanks anyway.

The moderators have already expressed their feelings to IB regarding today's outage.

Oh good. A competition.

I'll go for Ignoble B . . . No, perhaps not.

I'll make a wild guess. Summit to do with the internet - I - and the brand of the provider. No, can't be.

I wish they'd get rid of the damn edit thingy. Just look at it sitting there for no good reason.

Incompetent Buffoons :O

(Then people running the hardware / software, not the owners).

Hello!

We apologize for the issues with the site this weekend!

As it turns out, our servers had an unusually high load and were having trouble keeping up. Our tech team has fixed the issue and everything should be back to normal now. If you see something amiss, please let us know and we’ll look into it!

Thanks everyone!

500N:

IB stands for Internet Brands i.e., the owners of this web site/bulletin board.
