Hello everyone,

I am an Indian CPL holder and intend to do a B200 rating from the U.S. Having been unable to zero in on a good flight school , I request you to please suggest any good ones at the U.S.

Went through a few forums in this regard but all of them were pretty old so posting this new thread.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Cheers.

sai, you will have to do your training in a level D simulator if you are planning to get a B200 rating on your Indian licence, or else you will have to do the training in an aircraft. It would be best to apply for an NOC in DGCA once you have zeroed in on a school and see what they have to say (even though the CAR says you do not need to apply for an NOC for aircraft below 5,700kgs).

I would say try Simuflight in Centurion, Johanessburgh, South Africa as the are very reasonable and have good standard of training.
I have been there and found there Sim very good.

captjns and gerpols , thank you for your advice but our aviation regulator here ( DGCA ) asks us to fly 10 hrs on the aircraft and 15 on the sim for the rating on aircrafts below 5700 kgs. So doing the complete training on a sim isn't advisable.

It would really be appreciated if you could give info on a flight school which has an actual aircraft for training.

Thanks again .

Peace.

Oh yes, it needs to be a level D simulator of course. I had a talk with the DGCA officials and they opined that you better fly the actual aircraft too.

Getting the NOC would definitely secure us.

Full training on a sim might be a problem but thanks .
