myself and Andy Cookson worked for BMA on the ground at LHR during this time with a wonderful bunch of young boys and girls

Andy stayed for the duration to BMI & went on to become LHR station manger then Director of Ground services.
I went to Monarch in 1985 and then other charter airlines...
we spoke last week and thought what a wonderful idea would be to try and get a reunion of many as possible who worked in passenger services, traffic ops, ticket desk and engineering, 1977-1985 the very formative years in Midland's development with its difficult competition with BA on domestic shuttle routes.
(we did not base crew then at LHR but of course anyone who flew into LHR then and remember us bunch would be a delight to see)

sadly we know that Donald Anderson and Nick Entract (both traffic officers sadly have passed away in recent years) but many more names spring to mind
