Hi, we need an EASA engineer to replace the seatbelts in our Cessna 182. The task is clearly very simple but it has to be done by the 'right' person.

So, options are either:

Find someone out there (even if they're used to working on Airbus, it's the same qualification!).
Send someone out there!

If you have any ideas/help then please either post here or if including contact details, perhaps by email?

Thanks! Sam.

Would have been good to know about this before the aircraft left Europe :ugh:, but never mind!http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/src:www.pprune.org/get/images/smilies/wibble.gif

Cannot help you, take it its the 10 yr life limit? Hope you got the SIDS sorted too. You might be able to get a dispensation to extend the life for say 6 months if the aircraft is returning... Ask them.

Did you get the new belt restraint done under the P1 seat as well, to stop it sliding back, it was a freebie off Cessna.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the posts. Have also found out that I can do it myself!

Have also asked for an extension...

Will look up the Cessna freebie - don't get nuthin if you don't ask (thanks!).

Fly safe, Sam.
