Saw this article in the DT this morning, and ashamed to say I didn't know this was on going, but fantastic news.

Fighter Command is airborne again at Bentley Priory - Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/10271232/Fighter-Command-is-airborne-again-at-Bentley-Priory.html)

I oftern worried about the fate of Dowding's office in BPOM after MoD sold up, and now the site is surrounded by advertising hoardings for £1.5M houses....

Great News.

"It was 9am sharp......most of his staff hadn't yet arrived." Never did a staff job.....sounds like I missed out on a few lie-ins!

Attended the opening on 12 September. What a beautiful place and what an amazing day! Interesting closed-loop film being played in Dowding's office. The Patron, HRH Prince Charles had to stop his speech outside as "we are coming under attack again" as the Spitfire and Hurricane continued to fly over from every which way. :D

Superb to see. I like the way he wrote the article as well.
