Chief Ground Instructor - CAE Singapore

Responsibilities

The Chief Ground Instructor reports to the Approved FTO’s Accountable Manager. The CGI must have a practical background in aviation and have undergone a course of training in instructional techniques or have had extensive previous experience in giving theoretical knowledge instruction. The Chief Ground Instructor responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

- observing local, national and international regulations
- cooperating with local, national and international aviation authorities
- conducting ground training, and other events, as required
- supervising Ground Instructors and Student Pilots
- maintaining training records for Student Pilots
- completing reports as required
- ensuring the highest standards in the training, qualifications, and competencies of instructional personnel
- maintaining a current training operations library
- carrying out any additional work as required by the Accountable Manager

Requirements

Proven instructional experience
Experience in teaching the EASA/JAR ATPL syllabus would be advantageous
Be eligible for, or have permanent residency in Singapore.
Be proficient in the use of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
A recognized qualification in instructional delivery and/or instructional design would be an advantage.
Applicants should have considerable relevant aviation experience.
Knowledge in: principles of flight, (radio) navigation, human performance, Air Law.
Ability to develop and fine tune existing training material
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Aerospace Park.
