Very busy in the summer "El Altet" ALC (Alicante, Spain), with all the tourist travelling to the sun and the beach, almost looks like a large airport.

You can even see any big plane as this Monarch Airline Airbus A330.

Amazed how much traffic can bear without much trouble...

Photo: D-ADPO (CN: 46595) Condor McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 by Manuel Marin - JetPhotos.Net (http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=7012982)

DC-10 regulars were Spantax Scanair Laker Bcal-ch/Calair/Novair and Condor & possibly Finnair & Monarch ones too
Conair/premiair which came out of Scanair...

British Airtours/Caledonian Peachair & LTU Tristars (and Court line too 1973-4) plus aload of Swedish and Icelandic ones

747's i think Condor and Aer Lingus were seen (they def went to Palma, so did BOAC's 747's)

767's were regulars starting with Britannia & Braathens in 1984

a330-300's of LTU started many years ago

before the wide bodies started you saw many 707's and DC-8's of many airlines...often stretched DC8-63 series

also BA Super VC-10 in 1974/5 operating charters for Northeast(was BKS)
