French accident reports (http://www.bea.aero/fr/enquetes/2013/2013.semaine.32.pdf) are showing an AS350 on 3rd August at Fenny Drayton (Leics, UK) "forced landing due to smoke in cockpit. Helicopter subsequently consumed by fire. Pilot uninjured."

Doesn't say if it is a civil or military AS350

No mention on Rotorheads thus far, thought AS350 ppruners would be interested?

OK, so I've now found here (http://localuknews.co.uk/leicester/news/localnews/helicopter-fire-forces-pilot-to-land-in-field) that it was 10.30pm at night and East Midlands ASU attended. No details on the circumstances or potential cause of smoke/fire, type of operation, etc. Given night flight and just reported as "Squirrel" by EMASU (https://www.facebook.com/notes/east-midlands-air-support-unit/mira-hinckley-aviation-incident/694381080578666) it could be AS355 rather than AS350. Someone must know more....
