So I log into Pprune - taking some time to get a response. Go to JB (or anywhere else!) and read a thread. Go to reply and eventually get:

>This page can't be displayed

•Make sure the web address PPRuNe Forums - Professional Pilots Rumour Network (http://www.pprune.org) is correct.
•Look for the page with your search engine.
•Refresh the page in a few minutes.

Go to 'Fix connection problems' and get

Leaving pprune and coming back sometimes works. Is it my box of tricks or my pretty useless (Orange) ISP or Pprune?

That happened to me yesterday for about ten minutes. I assumed that either the Pprune server was overloaded or that it had a temporary glitch.

Such temporary glitches do happen fairly frequently, unfortunately.

To my mind, far too bloody frequently!

Thanks for the input, people.

Ive noticed this all very frequently in the last two weeks. I too have orange or EE isp and am thinking that BT are moving all the boxes around in the local exchange. My download speeds now vary between 1 and 15 Mb/s per day.
