I havent been in indonesia for 40 years but Pertamina were the state fuel suppliers.

Pertamina Aviation (http://aviation.pertamina.com/Products.aspx?p=ag)

there is a "contact us" link on that web page.

wingz5000,

You should contact the people involved in the Catalina ferry flight:

From my experience I have noticed there is not much Avgas available in Indonesia. I know from recent experience there are active flight schools at Jakarta Halim, Cilicap (Java) and also in Bali so it might be worth contacting them to see if they could supply you with fuel. As previously mentioned every airport which has Jet A1 available is supplied by Pertamina so you may be able to contact them to arrange for drums to be delivered to various aerodromes. You may also be able to arrange fuel through ground handling agents although I don't know the names of any to recommend.

Happy Landings

You'll need to pre-order the Avgas from Pertamina. Even the flight schools in Indonesia do this and have their Avgas delivered in drums to their bases. I'd give Bandung a miss due to the surrounding terrain and if you're flying IFR, the MSA there is around 9800 ft coming from the southeast. Most light aircraft coming from the east would prefer to fly via the north coast of Java as the terrain is easier to manage there. From DPS Bali, follow the south coast of Bali and up through the Bali strait tracking coastal up along the east coast of Java past Banyuwangi and then track west along the coast towards Surabaya. From Surabaya, cut across to Semarang via Blora (BA), Cirebon (CA) and on to Jakarta's Halim airport where there are many flight schools with supplies of Avgas.

Surabaya also has a flight school based there with their own supply of Avgas. (Merpati flight school) Note that there's now a new airport in Medan called Kuala Namu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuala_Namu_International_Airport) which just opened last week.
