Just saw this (http://www.travelweekly.com.au/travel-today/news/qantas-changes-fuel-surcharges?) posted on an Australian site. Not certain if it affects surcharges from other origins.
Interesting to see that a First/Business surcharge is now a few hundred dollars more than Economy. I didn't know that fuel differentiated itself by class of service, but I suppose that it does take more fuel to move an F seat, and it's occupant, than a Y seat.
I also note there doesn't appear to be a change to 'the Americas', but they wouldn't need to align themselves with EK on that route.
