Hard to believe the person climbed on in France in order to get into Niger?

No reason for the body to fall on the same flight they stowed away on

Hard to believe the person climbed on in France in order to get into Niger?AF flies Ouagadougou-Niamey-Paris, so the flight in question - and the unfortunate stowaway - probably originated in OUA.

Remember the 2007 LAX discovery of a stowaway on a BA 747?

Dead stowaway at LAX could be from Cape Town | The San Diego Union-Tribune (http://www.utsandiego.com/uniontrib/20070130/news_1n30stowaway.html)

I always thought it slightly embarrassing that it it took a week and 3 or 4 trips through LHR - with presumably as many pre-flight walkarounds - before the body was finally spotted in LAX. Well, could have been worse, it could have been unlatched cowlings.

More concerning for me is the security aspect - these stowaways can breach/purchase access to transports presumably in 3rd world. Why bother using sophisticated security on your front door if your just going to leave the back door unlocked?

"The plane was coming from Burkina Faso’s capital, Ouagadougou, and was scheduled to continue to Paris"

What I find even more surprising is that there is enough wasted space inside a 747 wheel well to allow a body to remain in place through multiple gear cycles.

What would you have filled the space with?. Air seems like a low weight type of filler material in a box structure. :E

There is a ledge forward of the wing gear main leg that is big enough for a man to lay in.

Probably not the most sensible post I have seen!
