Air Van

Does anybody know if Air Van is hiring at the BN2, DH-6, and ATR levels?

I grew up in Vanuatu and go back there for visits now and then.
Been living and flying in the Canadian north for the last few years. Looking to move back to Vila with my wife.

What do they look for in requirements? I have Canadian (ICAO) licences. Do they require CASA licencing or will they take ICAO? Who should I contact?

Belair airlines is looking for a BN2 pilot min 1000 HRS, 450 HRS MECIR Command time in BN2, ATPL.

Don't even bother with BelAir unless you're exceptionally desperate. Pay levels are 'Local Rates', round the 100,000vt a month level.

My information on the pay rate was apparently wrong, it's a fair bit higher, but still not someone I'd recommend flying for.

You should have been looking for "Airvan" then, not "Air Van"... the long held and well recognized abbreviation of Air Vanuatu. :rolleyes:

(Probably worth another thread, a progress report on the Airvan developments with foreign owners. Big pity Gippsland couldn't hold onto it)

Im young pilot recently graduated from a flight academy in NZ with a CPL licence. im looking to move back into vanuatu with my family and im looking for a job there and im quite desperate at the moment. has any body got any ideas for jobs in Vanuatu including air vanuatu?
