Afternoon All,

Just started a new job as an Ops Manager. I have 3 small boys working for me. All of which are very keen but very green. They work extremely hard but have had little bar the bare minimum of 'learn it yourself' training.

Although I believe that this method works well!, I would like to push them into something slightly more structured and with a nice certificate for fridge/ magnet interface at the end of it.

We're moving some of our aircraft onto Jetplanner from PPS, so I guess Crawley will provide training for this if needed.

Crab Air used to try to push us down the C & G Airline Ops path but I felt this met with mixed success and opinions.

Toying with some online IATA Airline Ops courses to start with.

All above a long-winded way of asking for your opinions and advice!

Thanks.

Hi Hoof
I don't know how much you have investigated the C & G route,so
apologies if its 'old' news to you but a company called Avtech 2000
do the distance learning route for many different modules, some
which may suit your 'greenlings',as time can be spent on home
study.
I have heard nothing negative about them, wether a City & Guilds
would actually suit your purposes is of course up to you,but it
is at least a recognized qualification in the U.K.
Here is a link...avtech 2000 Qualifications (http://www.avtech2000.co.uk/)..
Good luck in your training, 'the future'!
