Nothing to do with Military Aviation, The RAF, Airplanes or anything some here think a Thread has to have in it to make it acceptable.

It is about a Soldier, a Two Dollar Cup of Coffee, and the Human Spirit.

SASless,

After a pretty rubbish day, I'm turning in with a bit of a glow inside; maybe there are still a few good things left about this crazy screwed up world we are living in these days.

As for your comment " Nothing to do with Military Aviation, The RAF, Airplanes or anything some here think a Thread has to have in it to make it acceptable.", I have to disagree. We are all too quick to think of the military being about hardware and expensive toys. It's not. It's about people. And this is about people, about simple gestures and about people taking time to stop and think of those around them. In short, this should serve as a reminder of what it is we should be doing as officers and NCOs on a daily basis - looking out for each other and those around us.

Here is another example :)

Heartwarming post SASless, and nice to see how modern day servicemen are being thought of in tough times. I too agree with Melchett, I think my attitude would be that if its something that could be of interest in a crewroom, then you will find someone with an interest in it on PPrune, regardless of content.

Thanks again
