Does anyone have any information on this club at Shobdon Airfield, Leominster?

The reason I ask is that my better half has recently bought me some flying lessons at this club, and I have never heard of it, let alone been there.

The good news though is that their lessons are considerably cheaper than most places (GBP76.00 per hour I think), which helps!!

Any information will be appreciated.

(Just noticed that I can't type! 'areo' in the heading should obviously read 'aero')

HAC is a small flying club which has the exclusive use of Shobdon Airfield. They have about 3 x C152's, 1 x C150 and a PA28-180. Its a cheap and pleasant place to fly.

If you want to know more then drop me a line

cheers

Delightful little place -flown in there many times.
History lesson: Built as a glider training station in 1940. School and cafe in original nissan huts, lovely countryside.
Enjoy!!

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a great little place. All I need now is to wait for the weather to clear up...
