Market in India

I'm traveling extensively here, what's the market here? Do I stand a chance with 700+ hours and some air force experience? Any hints appreciated.

No chances. The Indian government does not allow expat first officers to work in India. There are more than 5000 unemployed pilots, some with type on A320 or B737.

And for Captains 36 months contract, after that you´re done. Kind of funny seeing some bizjets grounded cause they don´t find crews :ugh:

Negative. FATAs are being extended to 31 Dec, 2016 with contracts be extended accordingly.

FATA will be extended, its very hard for the airlines to find experienced training captains and line captains within India. I ve flown in India in the past and they always said this will be my last year for 5 years. :E
