Thanks for posting this F3WMB - I read it online and was stunned. What a story. Kind of makes you realise why we've been there doesn't it.

Did an enjoyable physics lesson on Forces with some 4th form girls about 7 years ago. Most of the lesson was out on the lacrosse pitch, where an Old Girl had just landed her Army Gazelle.

now that really is 'overcoming all the odds'! Worthy of a GAPAN award purely for her (and her sister's) determination.

It will be a great shame if the country reverts to Taliban principles and this sort of thing becomes impossible again. A great story - I would be interested to hear more of the little girl's story.

This story seems to go round and round. It's atleast 18 months old if it is a day.

Well, I am so glad to see that a press story, reported by the BBC, is truly accurate and real. It has obviously been reported exactly in the way it happened. A factual account of a remarkable story and definitely not exaggerated or distorted in any way. Well done!
