Bonnie Blair (Olympic Gold medalist) will be honored at a banquet preceding the race on Saturday nite as well as attending the race. High profile skaters ie: Bont skate team from Louisiana, K2 team from Seattle, Debbie Rice (world's fastest female skater) will be in attendance.
All levels of skaters are welcomed from the very serious to fun and recreational. This is in support of HCCA (Hereditary Colon Cancer Association)...or as we say, "Rollin' for the Colon" ;)
However, a very good cause!
Since a fellow(ette) PPRuNe pilot showed interest in attending this race, there may be others who would like to participate.
